Prologue
Yugi looked out the window. The sea all around him. He was on his way to duel Pegasus for the soul of his grandpa.
He sighed, ‘are you alright Yugi?’ Yami asked.
‘Yah…I’m fine. But…that storm is coming.’ The dark clouds were approaching.
“I think we’re going to have trouble…” Téa said, as she zipped up her bag.
“Yah…that storm looks pretty bad…” Yugi answered.
“Yah, but this boat will last…” Tristan smiled.
“What are you? An engineer?” Joey shot.
“Hey! Take dat back you-” the two boys started fight.
“We’re gonna hit it!!” Yugi grabbed his bag and ducked for cover.
The raging waves hit the side of the ship. The ship teetered as the water pushed and pulled.
“Whoa…whoa!!” Joey and Tristan tried to get their balance and dodge the ever-moving appliances.
“Watch it!” Tristan yelled as Joey fell over him.
“Get down!!” Téa screamed and pulled the boy’s down as the thunder hit the center of the boat. The ship was in half now; people fell out and floated in the water.
“ahhh!!” everyone screamed and fell. The group of four held on to a peace of wood, and watched the boat burn into the sea.
Yugi stared at it, amazed. It was beautiful and yet dangerous. The boat had caught fire and was now sinking. Everything he was going to win went to the bottom of the ocean. Everything was ruined. Yugi sighed, and had suddenly let go of the wood he was floating with. Yugi sank.
“YUGI!” was the last thing he had ever heard. Joey and Tristan went down to get him, they just kept swimming with Téa behind them. They couldn’t seem to catch him. They suddenly lost it, all air was gone and they sank in too.
